4.1 Product Information

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, and images on our website are accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant that all information is error-free. • All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR)
• Prices shown are exclusive of VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise
• VAT at the prevailing rate (currently 15%) will be added at checkout
• Delivery charges are calculated separately and displayed before payment
• We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice, but price changes will not affect orders already confirmed

In the event of a pricing error, we will contact you before processing the order. You may choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order for a full refund. We are not obligated to supply goods at an incorrect price.

5. Ordering and Payment

An order placed through our website constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. A binding agreement is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email.

We deliver to addresses throughout South Africa. Delivery to neighbouring countries may be available on request — please contact us for a quotation.

6.3 Risk and Ownership

Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the delivery address specified in your order. Ownership of goods remains with MediSource until full payment has been received.

• 7-day cooling-off period for online purchases (ECT Act Section 44)
• 6-month defective goods protection (CPA Section 56)

8.1 Manufacturer Warranty

Most equipment sold by MediSource carries a manufacturer's warranty. The duration and terms of the warranty vary by product and are stated on the relevant product page or accompanying documentation.

8.2 Implied Warranty (CPA Section 56)

In addition to any manufacturer warranty, the CPA provides an implied warranty that goods are of acceptable quality, free from defects, and fit for their intended purpose for a reasonable period after purchase.

8.3 Warranty Exclusions

Warranties do not cover damage arising from:

• Misuse, negligence, or failure to follow manufacturer operating instructions
• Unauthorised repairs or modifications
• Normal wear and tear or expendable parts (bulbs, batteries, filters)
• Power surges, water damage, or other environmental factors

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• MediSource shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or related to the use of our goods or services
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the goods giving rise to the claim
• Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under South African law

3. Legal proceedings: Any legal action shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of South Africa.
